Our client is an expanding manufacturing company looking to add a Finance Manager to their team to provide comprehensive financial leadership to the company and functions as the leading accounting professional in the company. This position will be responsible for the accurate reporting of results and maintenance of the company’s assets, through balance sheet integrity and providing a controlled environment. What we are looking for you to do:
Accountable for ensuring balance sheet integrity, tax and other compliances, and fostering a strong control environment in the company.
Functions as a business partner with the CEO to effectively manage and control all facets of the company’s efficiency and productivity.
Managing a complete and thorough month end closing process.
Analyzing and interpreting company operational results, evaluating variances and assessing the effects on the company operations.
Overseeing a team of two employees while providing effective leadership to staff, in order to improve their performance and directing their career development.
Coordinates with functional corporate directors regarding treasury, accounting and controlling.
Serving as the project manager on cost reduction initiatives, working cross functionally with operations management.
Framing financial and operational issues in a complete business case format and positively contributing to the strategic direction of the company.
The experience we are looking for:
8+ years Finance Manager experience required.
Food, CPG or manufacturing experience ideal.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Recognized accounting designation preferred (CPA).
Finance experience on a global level; must have experience in various currencies.
Clean criminal record and driver’s required.
