Charterhouse Middle East, an international consultancy practice in Dubai, is currently seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all financial accounting aspects for the regional business. The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and preparing VAT returns quarterly. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this role involves managing transactional accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, as well as overseeing reconciliation processes and general ledger maintenance.
In addition to financial accounting responsibilities, the Finance Manager will support collections, working capital management, and prepare cashflow and work-in-progress reports for reporting purposes. Oversight of internal accounting systems and booking systems is also required to ensure accurate data input and preparation of financial accounts. This role extends to audit oversight and compliance-based group reporting.
The ideal candidate for this position is a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with experience in professional services organizations. They should have a hands-on approach to operational finance and accounting roles, understanding tax and regulatory matters in regional markets. Strong communication skills are essential for acting as a liaison point with internal or external audit partners. Candidates should also be proficient in working-capital concepts, cashflow positions, MIS reporting, Excel analysis, in-house accounting systems, and ERP platforms.
