Finance Manager (Expenditure & Payroll)

Job Description


Reporting to VP Finance, the Manager Finance (Expenditure & Payroll) plays a strategic and integral role in Finance Division and will be responsible for expenditure controllership, ensuring prompt payroll & payment processing, driving improvements initiatives for functional responsibilities under his/her charge and ensure they align with company-wide initiatives and Finance Division roadmap.

Responsibilities


1. Ensure prompt payment for payroll
2. Ensure timely settlement of vendor invoices and filing of incentive schemes
3. Ensure all month end processing are completed on time
4. Responsible for expenditure analysis and controllership

5. Responsible for payment policies, processes and internal controls in the Company

6. Co-ordinate annual budget exercise of the Company with Budgeting team

7. Works closely with Treasury on cash management and banking relationships
8. Liaise with internal / external auditors for matters pertaining to his/her portfolio
9. Lead improvement initiatives to enhance business productivity and ensure it align with company-wide initiatives and Finance Division roadmap
10. Lead system enhancements and/or system implementation for related functional areas and any other initiatives as assigned by Management

Requirements



1. CA/CPA with degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent preferred
2. At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in MNC environment, including 3 years of managerial experience leading teams
3. Relevant experience managing expenditure, Accounts Payable, Payroll and leading improvement initiatives

4. Knowledge of SAP FICO modules or Tableau will be an advantage
5. Experience leading system implementation will be a plus

6. Must demonstrate good communication and inter-personal skills, confidence and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in cross cultural and matrix-reporting environment
7. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced and high transactional volume environment or ambiguous situations
