Our client is a leading player in the Healthcare industry. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Singapore.



Job Description:

Reporting to the CEO and the Board, the incumbent will have a dual role in overseeing the financial operations of the company and driving strategic M&A initiatives. You will work closely with the executive team to provide financial leadership, ensure financial stability, and drive growth through both organic expansion and acquisitions. In addition, you will lead the M&A process, from strategy development to execution and integration, to fuel the company's growth and maximize value creation.


Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to optimize resource allocation and support strategic decision-making.
Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguard company assets.


2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial data, and provide recommendations to drive business growth, cost optimization, and risk management.
Collaborate with accounting teams to maintain accurate books and records, adhere to accounting standards, and implement robust financial systems and controls.


3. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
Lead the M&A strategy development, including identifying potential acquisition targets and evaluating their strategic fit and financial viability.
Oversee the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and deal structuring.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of M&A transactions while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Develop integration plans and strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams, to achieve synergies and maximize the value of acquired entities.


4. Integration Planning and Execution:
Lead the integration process post-acquisition, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and realization of integration benefits.
Develop integration plans, including financial integration strategies, operational integration, and cultural alignment, to drive synergy realization and maximize efficiency.
Monitor integration progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve any issues that may arise during the integration process.
Provide financial oversight and guidance to ensure accurate financial consolidation and reporting of acquired entities.


5. Stakeholder Management and External Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Communicate regularly with the executive team, board of directors, and investors on financial performance, M&A activities, and integration progress.
Represent the company in external financial and M&A-related matters, including negotiations, due diligence, and investor relations.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in finance leadership roles, including CFO or senior finance positions, with a focus on financial operations, strategy, and M&A.
Strong expertise in financial management, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance considerations.
Demonstrated experience and success in leading M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to drive change and achieve results.
Experience working in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry and manufacturing environment is highly preferable.
Fluency in English and Mandarin is required; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
