As an Accountant - Accounts Payables at Al Futtaim Private Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. Your responsibilities will include handling a wide range of accounting functions related to payables, such as reporting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and trend analysis. Working closely with the finance team and other departments, you will provide essential support to internal customers, particularly the Malls business team, by effectively communicating financial information to meet business needs and enhance current processes.

Key responsibilities for this role include overseeing the complete accounting cycle for Malls, managing monthly closing accruals and reporting, addressing purchase orders in the system against completed works and services on a monthly basis, evaluating expense requests for justification and budget availability, verifying LPO’s, coding expenses accurately in GL accounts and cost centers, as well as ensuring timely payment releases according to agreed terms. Additionally, you will act as the central point of contact for all expense-related matters within the Business unit.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience in real estate accounting preferred
• Knowledge of asset management processes
