Senior Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis, preparing comprehensive reports, and offering actionable recommendations to management. This role involves developing and maintaining complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and investment decisions. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and presentation capabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support the development of long-range strategic plans by providing financial projections and scenario analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.

Business Support & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects through cost-benefit analyses.
- Prepare and present financial presentations effectively communicating complex information.

Process Improvement & Systems:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency.
- Assist in implementing financial systems like ERP tools.
- Develop documentation for financial processes.

Ad-hoc:
- Perform additional analysis or projects as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Stay updated on industry trends in financial analysis.

Education, Experience & Skills:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. They should also stay informed about best practices in finance and relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
