Manager Financial Systems

Etihad Airways, a global leader in aviation, is seeking a Manager Financial Systems to join our Finance team. As a subject matter expert in ERP (SAP) and other finance applications, you will continuously review, improve, and implement best practices to maximize the utilization of SAP ERP application in compliance with internationally recognized accounting standards while incorporating adequate internal controls.

In this role, you will act as the Finance SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing insights on ERP functionality and best practices. You will bridge the gap between Finance and IT during major ERP projects, with a focus on managing major implementation projects including S/4 HANA. Additionally, you will manage finance requirements for data analytics and reporting, liaise with IT and upstream data sources, and lead initiatives to automate using technologies such as RPA, AI/ML. Your responsibilities will also include governing access to finance applications and conducting periodic reviews.

The ideal candidate will have professional finance qualifications (CA / ACCA / CPA / CFA) along with SAP Finance-related technical accreditations. With 7-10 years of experience in delivering enterprise solutions for Finance and experience in data analytics projects for Finance, airline experience would be preferred. • 7-10 years of experience in delivering enterprise solutions for Finance
• Experience in delivering on data analytics project for Finance
• Airline experience preferred
• Professional Finance in accounting (CA / ACCA / CPA / CFA) preferred
• SAP Finance related technical accreditations

• Act as a business super-user across a variety of system platforms to implement rapid change requests which may not require a full DTI review
• Govern access to finance applications and sensitive information and conduct periodic reviews
• Work with stakeholders to complete process reviews and provide recommendations on how to eliminate waste and improve operating performance
• Manage finance requirements on data analytics and reporting, liaison with IT and upstream data sources
