Credit Control Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager to join our team and lead the Credit and Collections function across the UAE and Gulf region. In this role, you will be responsible for managing credit risk, optimizing collections, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, and enhancing cash flow management. The ideal candidate will work closely with key stakeholders such as the Group credit control department, finance, sales, and senior management to establish and maintain strong credit policies and procedures.

As a Credit Control Manager at Logicom Distribution, your duties will include developing, implementing, and maintaining credit policies aligned with business objectives. You will evaluate customer creditworthiness using financial analysis tools and suggest credit limits that align with corporate risk appetite. Additionally, you will identify high-risk accounts, take proactive measures to mitigate bad debts, ensure compliance with regional financial regulations, optimize collections strategies for timely recovery of receivables across markets in UAE and Gulf regions.

To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (MBA or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA or ACCA preferred) along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Credit Control out of which 3 years should be in a managerial position preferably within the UAE and Gulf region. Strong leadership skills are essential along with expertise in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, collections strategies as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic would be considered an advantage).
