We are currently seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Process Control Engineer at SSC Egypt, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and optimizing control systems for industrial processes. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance operational efficiency and safety through the design and implementation of control strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems seamlessly into existing infrastructure while providing technical support and training to personnel on system operations.
Key responsibilities of the Process Control Engineer include designing control strategies for process performance optimization, analyzing process data to enhance operational efficiency, developing control procedures and documentation, monitoring system performance proactively for troubleshooting purposes, conducting regular maintenance checks for system integrity maintenance, utilizing advanced control techniques such as PID control and model predictive control, as well as staying updated with the latest technologies in process control.
The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in process control engineering or a related field. Additionally, candidates must possess strong knowledge of control theory and applied control engineering principles along with proficiency in designing and implementing control systems. Experience with automation software tools such as SCADA and PLC programming is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams are also key requirements for this role.
