**Job Title: Communications Manager**

**Role Overview:**
As the Communications Manager at CAC, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing impactful communication campaigns across various platforms to enhance the visibility of our mission and values. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will craft strategic messaging that resonates with our audience, deepens engagement, and strengthens community connections. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing institutional messaging, ensuring brand consistency, managing media relations, while staying abreast of industry trends to effectively engage target audiences.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**1. Strategic Communications and Messaging:**
- Articulate CAC's voice through purpose-driven communications that showcase organizational initiatives.
- Refine core messaging and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with CAC's mission.
- Execute communication campaigns that promote the organization's vision and values.

**2. Content Creation and Internal Communications:**
- Develop engaging content across platforms like email campaigns, blogs, social media, and the website.
- Establish templates, style guides, and policies for consistent communication alignment.
- Implement systems to streamline organization-wide communications efforts.

**3. Media Relations and Outreach:**
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets to expand CAC’s reach.
- Draft press releases, pitch stories, coordinate media opportunities.
- Serve as a liaison ensuring cohesive messaging internally while representing CAC externally.

**Qualifications & Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field
- 5+ years experience in communications or public relations
- Proficiency in social media management tools & CMS
- Strong writing/editing skills & data analysis capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities & deadlines
