Director of Engineering Projects

The Director of Engineering Projects will oversee the design, permits, installation, start-up of new processes and equipment for facility expansion or modifications. Responsibilities include managing large-scale projects from conception to completion while ensuring Health and Safety is a top priority. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years' engineering experience in petrochemical or chemical manufacturing environments with expertise in managing projects exceeding $35M. A Chemical Engineering degree is highly preferred along with knowledge of PHA/HAZOP methods and process troubleshooting skills.

This role requires strong leadership abilities to manage cost, scope, schedule, risk including construction and contractor management. The Director will provide process-engineering support for operation needs, deliver engineering support for facility operating permits renewals, offer guidance on purchasing parts related to process equipment, and mentor junior engineering personnel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to travel to various facilities as needed are essential requirements. • 10-15 years’ Engineering experience in a petrochemical
