Finance Controller

Job Description: This position is responsible for managing the activities within the Finance function in Trane Dubai. The incumbent provides advice and counsel to the business leaders, as well as business insight and functional guidance. They develop and enhance the finance capability of financial planning, analysis, and controllership to support business growth of Trane Dubai. Responsibilities include providing leadership on financial expertise for growth opportunities, working closely with business leaders for financial counsel and support, leading annual AOP and LRP processes, overseeing credit and collection initiatives, improving process efficiency and implementing cost controls/programs, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements (including Sarbanes-Oxley), verifying compliance with evolving finance policies, supporting ad hoc financial tasks/projects in Dubai/region. Key competencies include Business Acumen, Financial Analysis, Financial Process and Controls, Financial Tool Acumen, Trusted Advisor.

Key Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years background in Finance, with at least 4 years experience as a Finance Controller. Strong understanding of sales office business, commercial operations, and corporate processes.

• - Business Acumen working knowledge in company's operating model; understands challenges to drive execution of business objectives.
• - Financial Analysis well-adept at working with financial measurements and indicators to provide meaningful insights to data for high-level decision-making and recommendations.
• - Financial Process and Controls drive continuous improvement on regulations and evolving finance policies to mitigate or reduce complexities.
