We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our EMEA Accounting Controllership Organization in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the META/Accounting Assistant Zone Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in performing end-to-end accounting functions within the RTR (Record-to-Report) process. The primary responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely book close processes on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. The ideal candidate will monitor and analyze accounting data while maintaining compliance with Eaton Financial Policies, legal regulations, and GAAP requirements. Additionally, this role involves implementing procedures to enhance internal control environments and streamline operational efforts.
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Eaton, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality Balance Sheet Reconciliations for assigned ledgers according to Eaton policies. You will establish robust financial controls by creating month-end checklists and ensuring proper documentation for financial accruals. Compliance with SOX requirements is essential in this role; therefore, you will be expected to maintain all necessary documentation within specified deadlines. Upholding Eaton's accounting processes is crucial, as well as promoting adherence to US GAAP standards and corporate policies.
