Senior Director, Logistics

New Murabba, a pioneering urban development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Senior Director of Logistics to lead and oversee all logistics operations. The Senior Director will play a critical role in optimizing supply chain processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient delivery of materials and services. The Senior Director will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive logistics strategies aligned with New Murabba's objectives. They will optimize supply chain networks to ensure seamless operations and resource allocation. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and coordination with procurement and project teams to meet project schedules and requirements.

Vendor and contractor management are key aspects of this role. The Senior Director will establish and maintain relationships with logistics providers, negotiate contracts for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, identify risks associated with logistics operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, leverage technology for process optimization, uphold high standards of quality, safety, environmental performance across all activities aligning with sustainability goals.

To qualify for this role candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (Master’s degree preferred) along with at least 17 years of experience in logistics/supply chain management (7 years in senior leadership). Skills required include expertise in managing large-scale logistics operations for complex projects; strong leadership skills; proficiency in logistics management software/tools; commitment to high standards; exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
