Senior Accountant

We are hiring for a retail company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data. Your role will involve overseeing the accounting team and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This is a challenging position that requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Monitor and analyze financial data
- Ensure accuracy of financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or related role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
