As the Accountant - Management Accounts & Reporting at CERT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate General Ledger accounting records and reconciliations. You will be responsible for handling both internal and external audits, preparing financial budgets and plans according to international principles and CERT policies, as well as performing monthly VAT and corporate tax-related activities as required by the group.

Responsibilities for this position include maintaining all group GL accounts with regular reconciliations, preparing monthly VAT reports, managing corporate tax schedules, and liaising with authorities for filing tax returns. Additionally, you will assist in budget preparations, monitor budgeting processes across CERT divisions, prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, financial analysis, and more. Your role will involve coordinating annual operating budgets and ensuring timely master budget preparation while monitoring capital utilization and workforce spending.

The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field), along with relevant certification from an accredited institution such as CFA, ACCA or CIMA. A minimum of three years of work experience in a similar capacity is required. Proficiency in computer skills is essential, while fluency in English (Arabic preferred) is necessary.
