Financial Controller - BASED IN FRANKFURT

As the Financial Controller at our Frankfurt station, you will be responsible for overseeing various key aspects of financial management. This includes authorizing, evaluating, and implementing corporate finance decisions related to Revenue, Receivables, Payables, Cash/Banking, Payroll, General Ledger, and Taxation. You will lead a team of subordinates to ensure high accounting standards are maintained while protecting company assets and minimizing costs. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in setting up modern accounting systems and establishing a robust business support function at the outstations.

Your role will involve implementing new accounting systems and procedures as required by headquarters while monitoring internal controls across all areas of the station. You will liaise with department heads both locally and at headquarters to provide essential business support for their respective areas. By developing support systems and processes at the station, you will ensure accurate allocation of accounting transactions and timely provision of management information. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in preparing annual plans and budgets for finance activities while practicing budgetary control to prevent adverse variances.
