MBC GROUP, a leading media company in the United Arab Emirates, is currently seeking a Finance Manager specializing in Management Information Systems to join our dynamic finance function. As the MIS Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial data, systems, and processes to ensure accurate reporting and optimize workflows. Your role will involve identifying inefficiencies in financial processes, proposing improvements for efficiency and compliance, collaborating with finance teams across different locations, and managing ad-hoc projects independently when necessary.
One of the key aspects of this role is being an Oracle Fusion ERP Expert. You will act as a liaison between finance teams and technical ERP teams to accelerate projects and enhancements related to the finance function. Your responsibilities will include understanding requirements from both departments, proposing solutions, supporting ERP teams in configuration or development of functionalities, managing testing processes within finance, and being the initial point of contact for resolving Oracle-related issues within the department.
In addition to Oracle expertise, proficiency in Power BI is essential for this role. You will utilize Power BI for data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence purposes. This includes creating interactive dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Collaboration with stakeholders from finance departments and business planners across the organization to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and design relevant reports will also be part of your responsibilities.
Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or information systems. Relevant certifications such as PMP, Oracle-specific certifications or Power BI (or similar BI platforms) are advantageous. Experience with Oracle cloud ERP solutions is required along with analytical, planning, problem-solving skills, results orientation, and technical knowledge in data analysis (databases, SQL, Python).
