Our client, a Dubai-based international shipping vessel agency servicing Africa and Europe, is currently seeking a dedicated Operations Head - Shipping to join their team. As the Operations Head - Shipping, you will be responsible for directing and managing all aspects of vessel operations, including port calls, cargo handling, and husbandry services. Your role will involve developing and implementing operational strategies that are aligned with company objectives while ensuring proper risk mitigation measures are in place. You will also be tasked with monitoring operational expenses and identifying opportunities for cost optimization through wastage reduction initiatives. Adherence to international maritime regulations and safety standards will be crucial in this role to guarantee smooth and uninterrupted operations.
To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Ops head/Director/GM level in the industry of Shipping/Oil & Gas Shipping/Maritime Logistics. We are looking for candidates who are open to European and CIS nationals aged 45 years old and below. In return for your expertise, dedication, and hard work, we offer a competitive salary of up to 30K AED per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
