Job Description: The Group Financial Controller will lead the consolidation process for the group, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities include overseeing GL management, tax compliance, financial systems improvement, and team management. The ideal candidate should have a Chartered Accountant qualification with extensive experience in financial consolidation and reporting. They should possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting tools. This role requires leadership abilities to mentor finance staff and collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives.
Key Job Requirements:
- Candidates should have at least 8-10 years of experience in financial management and leadership roles.
- Experience in the GMS (Global Mobility Services) industry is highly preferred.
- The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in the Shipping sector, particularly in chartering or recycling of vessels, will be beneficial.
