Instrumentation Engineer (Sewerage Treatment Plant)

We are currently seeking an Instrumentation Engineer (Sewerage Treatment Plant) to join our dynamic team in Dubai as part of our Middle East operations. As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at Stantec, you will be responsible for the concept design and detail design development of instrumentation and control systems for Sewerage Treatment plants. Your key responsibilities will include designing Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s), generating field instruments lists from P&IDs, preparing cable schedules and route diagrams, developing instrument location plans, designing Control System Architecture diagrams, creating Panel Elevation drawings, loop/wiring diagrams, control schematics, and electrical equipment layout plans.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in instrumentation engineering with experience in designing control systems for Sewerage Treatment plants. You should possess excellent skills in generating technical drawings such as P&IDs, cable schedules, conduit development, instrument installation details, panel elevation drawings, loop/wiring diagrams, and control schematics. Additionally, proficiency in designing Control System Architecture/network diagrams and electrical equipment layout plans is essential for this position. • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing instrumentation and control systems for Sewerage Treatment plants
• Experience in generating field instruments, PLC I/O lists from P&IDs
• Experience in preparing Cable schedule and cable route diagrams
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
• Knowledge of Control System Architecture and Network diagrams

• Concept Design and detail design development for tender and/or construction level of instrumentation and control systems of Sewerage Treatment plants
• Design of Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s)
• Generate field instruments, PLC I/O lists from P&IDs
