As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Stantec, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical scope of works for a large-scale building project in Abu Dhabi. Your responsibilities will include monitoring compliance with contract documents and procedures manuals, reviewing technical submittals, responding to RFIs related to mechanical aspects, coordinating all mechanical activities on-site, and reviewing change order proposals from contractors. Additionally, you will liaise with sub-consultants, review claims related to mechanical works, manage inspectors, analyze testing reports, assist with inspections of completed works, and ensure proper documentation for handover.

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 15 years of relevant experience. A minimum of 6 years in Construction Administration and 4 years working in the Middle East are required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and demonstrate expertise in managing complex mechanical projects.
