Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team on-site full-time. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, budgeting, tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations for our Group of Companies. Additionally, they will provide valuable financial analysis and guidance to our management team while overseeing procurement-related activities.

Key responsibilities for this role include recording and classifying financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers for all entities within the group, preparing accurate month-end and year-end financial closings, developing budgets and forecasts, conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations, providing detailed financial reports to senior management, managing payroll processing and employee reimbursements, maintaining all financial records, and implementing process improvements for enhanced efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, tax preparation, as well as knowledge of local accounting regulations in Dubai. They should have experience with accounting software and MS Excel, attention to detail in record-keeping accuracy, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. A professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Immediate availability and a driving license are also advantageous for this position.
