As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Odor Control Systems for Sewage Treatment Plants, you will play a pivotal role in the rehabilitation and expansion project of an existing Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Dubai. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the repair and extension of the plant to handle up to 435,000 m3/day efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree from a recognized university along with at least 15 years of extensive experience working on sewage treatment plant equipment and control systems. You must demonstrate proficiency in managing construction works, optimizing operational processes, and adhering to specifications set forth by local authorities.
Key tasks for this role involve the rehabilitation/repairing of civil works, extending the plant capacity to around 175,000 m3/day, and upgrading the existing 260,000 m3/day STP facility. Successful candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of sewage treatment plant operations within Dubai Municipality's guidelines. This position requires strong leadership skills to supervise construction activities effectively while ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
