As the Tax Accountant for the MEA region, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's regional tax obligations, including Corporate Tax and Indirect Taxes. Collaborating with the Global tax team and Regional finance team, you will contribute to tax planning, reporting, compliance efforts while supporting regional business goals. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Indirect tax compliance, ensuring accurate preparation of regional tax returns, monitoring changes in tax laws across MEA jurisdictions, coordinating tax audits, and supporting regional tax planning initiatives aligned with Temenos's objectives.
In addition to managing tax obligations, you will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis within the region. This includes preparing accurate quarterly regional tax provisions using the Group's tax reporting system (TRCS), analyzing tax impact on financial performance, and providing insights to management. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams across MEA to ensure alignment on tax-related matters and support business initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with advanced tax qualifications preferred. Strong experience in MEA tax compliance and advisory within multinational companies or professional services firms is required. Proficiency in MEA tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, GAAP/IFRS standards is essential. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, communication abilities are necessary to succeed in this role.
