Our client, a leading company in the APAC Region's Technical Service Department, is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team in Sydney, Australia. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in guiding and developing teams of Solution Engineers, Data Analysis Engineers, and Senior Technical Support Engineers.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing clear goals, assessing team performance, and promoting a culture of accountability and innovation. You will also lead the formulation and execution of technical strategies to meet customer needs while ensuring that technical solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. Additionally, you will oversee project planning and resource management to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
As the primary liaison between the engineering team and other departments such as R&D, sales, and operations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer feedback and resolve technical issues effectively. Utilizing data analysis insights provided by the Data Analysis Engineer team, you will identify trends, optimize processes, and drive strategic decisions to enhance efficiency across the engineering function. Moreover, you will champion process improvement initiatives while staying updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor's degree or higher in electronic engineering or related fields with over 3 years of experience in the electrical/renewable industry. A minimum of 1 year in a management role is required along with advanced technical knowledge in PV systems, energy storage solutions, data analysis operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and programming languages is essential for this role.
