As the Director of Engineering at P10, you will play a crucial leadership role in overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of various technology platforms and solutions that support our business objectives. You will lead a team of engineers, developers, data scientists, and analysts to ensure the quality, performance, reliability, scalability, and security of our technology products and services. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will collaborate with senior leaders to understand business needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
Your responsibilities will include managing and mentoring your team to provide guidance, feedback, and career development opportunities. You will establish best practices for software engineering, data engineering, data science, and business intelligence while driving innovation through emerging technologies. Additionally, you will oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of various platforms such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Tableau Analytics, Salesforce.com, DataBricks among others. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing projects to completion will be essential in this role.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields including 5 years in a leadership role. Expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps tools along with excellent communication skills are required. Knowledge of finance industry processes is preferred.
