Public Relations Manager

Strattonshire Ventures, a rapidly growing data-driven high-tech company, is seeking a Public Relations Manager to join our team in Taiwan. As a Public Relations Manager, you will be responsible for managing media-related activities, including media proposals, social media, public relations, special events, and content marketing. Your role will involve executing strategies to enhance brand visibility and increase member retention rates in the Taiwan market.

You will work closely with local media for proposals and exposure while maintaining good relationships with journalists and reporters. Collaborating with influencers on social media strategies to boost brand awareness and fan base growth will be crucial. Additionally, you will partner with the PR team to craft compelling stories across various broadcast channels (including radio, television, digital media, print media, and social media) for consistent high-quality media coverage. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining an active presence on the company's Taiwan blog and social platforms to engage target audiences effectively.

In this role, you will develop a 1-year PR strategy for the Taiwan market in alignment with financial goals by collaborating closely with product and operations teams. You'll brainstorm and execute all marketing concepts and ideas for the Taiwan market while actively managing and growing Taiwan's social communities and blogs daily. Acting as the primary contact point for Taiwanese media outlets, you will nurture relationships with them while working closely with the PR team to advance PR activities. Furthermore, you'll seek out collaborations with relevant journalists to facilitate media article publications.

This position requires remote work (except during CEO visits to Taiwan when office presence is necessary). The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related fields along with 2-5 years of relevant experience including at least 1 year in media relations, PR advertising or content development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential along with proficiency in English.
