As the VP Engineering / Vice President of Engineering / Senior Director of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing our talented team of Engineers. You will have the opportunity to shape the future by recruiting top talent while maintaining the high standards already set. In addition to managing the team, you will oversee project plans, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and meeting company or customer requirements. Collaboration with key stakeholders such as the CTO, CEO, and COO will be essential in setting strategic direction for engineering and product development initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this role will have over 10 years of experience in an engineering environment, with at least 8 years leading teams. Recent experience in the drone or small robotics industry is highly desirable. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields is required, along with U.S. Citizenship. We are looking for individuals who have a strong hardware element background in robotics and can provide expertise on emerging technologies and trends.
