As the Vice President of Engineering at Energize Group, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing our company's technology roadmap. You will be responsible for building and leading a world-class engineering team comprising hardware, software, and aerospace engineers. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the development of autonomous flight systems, AI-powered navigation, sensor integration, communication protocols, and managing product development cycles from R&D to commercialization. Additionally, you will ensure the scalability, reliability, and safety of our drone systems while adhering to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 10 years of experience in engineering leadership roles within robotics, aerospace or autonomous systems industries. You should have proven experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams with strong knowledge of UAV technologies including flight control systems and embedded systems. Experience with FAA regulations and drone certification processes would be advantageous.
