Information Security Manager

As the Information Security Manager at NWC, you will have a range of key accountabilities and functional responsibilities. You will be responsible for managing financial aspects of cybersecurity, including budgeting and resourcing. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in effectively communicating cybersecurity risks and posture to senior management while ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations through periodic reviews of cybersecurity strategy, policies, and related documents. Your role will involve identifying potential security incidents, reporting them as necessary, and allocating appropriate resources to meet the organization's cybersecurity requirements.

Furthermore, as part of your responsibilities at NWC, you will establish communication channels with stakeholders, conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII), develop risk mitigation strategies in line with organizational risk appetite, and provide policy guidance to cybersecurity management staff and users. You will also work on monitoring compliance with cybersecurity requirements for IT systems while participating in audits of cyber programs and projects.
