As an Accountant at Aqua Maris Ships Supply LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts, assisting with audits, generating financial reports for management and stakeholders, processing invoices and payments to vendors, verifying invoice accuracy, resolving vendor inquiries and discrepancies, processing employee expense reports, monitoring accounts payable aging, generating customer invoices, recording customer payments, monitoring accounts receivable aging, resolving billing inquiries and disputes from customers.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a good understanding of financial regulations and tax laws. You should possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data effectively. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP is required along with advanced knowledge of MS Excel. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
