Our company, a leading bank in the Middle East with a global presence through Branches and Representative Offices, is seeking a talented Treasury Manager to join our team at the Dubai Branch. We offer a dynamic work environment where your expertise in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and Money Market operations will be put to good use. Collaborating with Group Treasury, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various treasury functions such as Investments and Treasury Sales.
As the Treasury Manager, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing daily treasury operations to ensure optimal liquidity levels and regulatory compliance. You will be tasked with managing ALM activities, focusing on interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and capital management. Developing strategies for money market activities, cash flow forecasting, short-term investments, and funding will also be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, staying abreast of market trends and economic indicators to provide insights for managing financial risks is essential.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align treasury strategies with overall business objectives. Regular reporting on treasury activities including ALM positions and money market performance will be part of your duties. Compliance with local and international regulations related to treasury operations is paramount. Building relationships with regional banks for offering market products such as IRS/FX/Credit/Repo is another key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics or related field (MBA or CFA preferred) along with 10-12 years of experience in treasury management focusing on ALM and money markets. Proficiency in treasury management systems, financial analysis tools like Excel, strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, leadership qualities, adaptability under pressure in fast-paced environments are required attributes. Knowledge of banking regulations in UAE and financial markets products including Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities Rep., derivatives are essential.
