We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical specializing in Pumping Station and Sewage Treatment projects to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. As part of this role, you will be responsible for technical delivery, including reviewing reports, managing non-conforming works, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with engineers to solve project design problems. You will also be involved in client service management by liaising with internal and external clients, building lasting relationships, and ensuring work is completed in line with Stantec Core Values.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing Pumping Stations, Water Pipelines, treatment plants, and irrigation networks. You should have expertise in pump selection, control valve selection, disinfection systems design, pipework design, compressed air systems, surge vessels, utility diversions management, and safety design principles. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
