We are currently seeking an Operations and Maintenance Engineer specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on BESS units, ensuring their optimal performance. Conducting inspections, capacity tests, firmware/software upgrades, providing remote diagnostics, and offering customer support are key aspects of this position. Additionally, you will manage spare parts inventory, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain comprehensive documentation including timesheets, job logs, and risk assessments.

The ideal candidate for this role should hold a qualification in an electrical discipline along with relevant maintenance experience in either electrical or multi-skilled capacities. Preferred experience includes working with BESS systems, HV/LV power electronics, inverters/converters. As part of our team, you will also have opportunities to contribute to product development by suggesting improvements based on your field experience. This role may involve travel including potential overnight stays and international trips as necessary to fulfill job requirements.
