NOMAC, a leading provider of Operation & Maintenance services for power production and water desalination projects globally, is seeking a Senior Manager to join their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing financial models and benchmarking components to ensure efficient O&M bids aligned with NOMAC's value proposition.

As the Senior Manager, Cost Modeler, you will be tasked with developing basic financing models, scenario analysis, and return analysis based on market research and project financial profiles. Your role will involve reviewing assumptions provided by different teams and incorporating them into financial models. A technical understanding of the Power and Water business will be advantageous in this position.

Additionally, you will review contractual provisions for Operations and Maintenance, Payment terms, Liability Cap clause, and Tariff Schedules to ensure favorable terms towards NOMAC/ACWA. Collaborating closely with the Business Development team, you will share insights from market research and competitor information to ensure competitive proposals that consider previous learnings.

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering along with added Finance/Accounting qualifications or an MBA. With at least 7 years of experience in the utility sector, you should possess strong analytical skills and market intelligence to conduct thorough benchmarking activities. Your ability to develop internal benchmarks based on plant performance data will be crucial in enhancing overall operational efficiency.
