We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will apply accounting principles to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with appropriate control procedures. Responsibilities include compiling and analyzing financial information for general ledger accounts, supervising financial data input processes, monitoring accounting reports for accuracy, analyzing expenditure trends to recommend budget levels, resolving accounting discrepancies when necessary, overseeing payroll processes in coordination with GHRD, liaising with auditors for timely completion of audits, developing financial databases and software systems, establishing accounting control procedures as per company policies.
The successful candidate should be a graduate in Accounting or Management fields with a minimum of 7 years' experience handling Accounts/Finance departments independently. Proficiency in English communication skills along with numeracy, analytical thinking skills is required. Knowledge of computer applications and operations is essential. Previous experience in outward communication to banks/agents/service providers will be advantageous.
