Responsibilities:
Design recruitment programs and processes and serve as an internal leader and industry expert to Line Managers across the company on talent acquisition/recruitment matters.
Ensure business processes and work activities, relevant to position, are planned and executed in compliance with the company’s policy, procedures, and best practice to achieve business objectives in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Liaise with Department Managers to clarify, justify and provide updates on all significant developments undertaken by the projects section.
Analyse cash flow, cost controls and expenses within own section towards optimum utilization of company’s resources.
Work with the Manager Learning & Development in the receipt, interviewing and screening of applications for Corporation’s internship programs.
Screen application forms and shortlist applicants for Senior Levels.
Review and discuss the formal offer to be made, maintaining ongoing liaison with the candidate through all mobilization matters, including visas, medical check-ups, carrying out reference checks, etc.
Ensure that each new employee undergoes a comprehensive induction process.
Prepare and circulate to all Department Heads, a monthly list of all vacancies against budgeted manpower; maintain this list on an ongoing basis to reflect changes resulting from resignations, transfers, promotions, retirements, and terminations.
Ensure company’s needs and priorities are aligned with those of the workforce to ensure it can meet its legislative, regulatory, and organizational objectives.
Review internal requests for promotions / confirmations raised by the various departments for all categories of employee; review recommendations and indicate conformity with approved establishment.
Confirm job requirements in the current job description with concerned Department Managers and obtain additional information useful in building up a “candidate profile” to attract the right people.
Coordinate job evaluation activities, either carrying out work to grade jobs using the Corporation’s job evaluation plan or working with consultants to evaluate / grade all jobs in the Corporation.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with local and international recruitment agencies to meet the company’s business and operational objectives.
Represent the company in job fairs and other related functions in search of suitable candidates.
Motivate staff and empower direct reports by providing the necessary tools and support required to support section goals and objectives.
Establish clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign, delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of the team.
Build opportunities for staff to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years’ experience within HR with at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role
HR Certification from a recognized HR Association is preferred (e.g. CIPD)
Excellent knowledge in recruiting and marketing strategies
Exceptional communication skills and fluent in Arabic and English
Strong analytical skill
Team leadership in a multicultural work environment
Goal oriented & IT literate
