As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the accounting and finance department, overseeing all financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance.
In this role, you will oversee all financial and accounting activities within the company, prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis, ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and develop strategies to enhance financial performance. Working closely with management, you will collaborate to set financial goals and budgets while monitoring tax obligations. Additionally, you will provide leadership to the finance team, engage in cost management initiatives, and drive productivity improvements.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field along with professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry is essential. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws and regulations is required. Excellent leadership skills combined with proficiency in financial management software are crucial for success in this role. The ability to analyze data strategically while demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills is also key.
