Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO), the Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all day-to-day finance matters including accounting, reporting, treasury, audit, taxation, and other finance activities for the company. During the mobilization period and post-commercial operation date of the plant, key responsibilities will include processing invoices and payments, bank reconciliations, preparing financial reports as requested by management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, VAT returns preparation, assisting in budgeting processes, handling auditing and taxation matters efficiently.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles within an Audit Firm or multinational company. A Diploma in economics, accounting or finance is required along with certification such as Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) from Association of Chartered Certified Accounts UK. Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, willingness to work long hours when required are essential qualities for this role.
