We are currently seeking a Vice President/General Manager who will be instrumental in providing outstanding leadership to position our company as a frontrunner in the markets we serve. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic plans to advance our mission and vision while driving long-term revenue and profitability growth. With full P&L responsibility, the VP/GM will oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service excellence, and cost-effective resource management. This individual will lead key operational and commercial initiatives with a focus on sustainable growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide personnel leadership for environment, health, and safety performance.
- Communicate effectively across the organization regarding strategic direction and key issues.
- Lead operational and commercial initiatives for long-term growth with full P&L responsibility.
- Develop short, medium, and long-term strategic plans for sustained revenue growth.
- Identify acquisition opportunities and manage acquisition activities.
- Present annual budget proposals for approval.
- Recruit and mentor future business leaders within the organization.
- Maintain succession plans for key positions.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10-15 years of progressive management experience in manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong strategic planning skills with proven success in managing complexity.
- Commercial acumen with a track record of driving growth and customer satisfaction.
- Experience leading businesses with operations across North America; global business knowledge preferred.
- Proficiency in contracting, negotiating, change management, financial planning.
- Prior P&L experience required; advanced MS Office skills essential.
