We are currently seeking a Senior Manager Engineering to provide direct management oversight within our business unit for delivering products or services that meet customer needs. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the strategic plan by achieving goals for quality, process improvement, and financial management. The ideal candidate will have an advanced technical degree such as a PhD or Masters in Engineering or Science along with 10+ years of experience leading engineering development organizations. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing/processing or design is highly preferred, as well as familiarity with Agile and traditional Project Management Professional methodologies.

Responsibilities include identifying necessary resources for project completion, leading cost-efficient departmental tasks, preparing accurate cost estimates and budget justifications, overseeing staff planning for goal achievement, assessing candidate qualifications effectively for hiring/promotion decisions, fostering team cooperation through trust-building strategies, delegating tasks efficiently to meet organizational goals on time. Excellent communication skills are essential to explain job duties clearly to team members while providing mentoring and coaching when needed.

• 10+ years of experience leading an engineering development organization
• Defense industry experience preferred
• Semiconductor experience: manufacturing/processing, fab, design, etc.
• Advanced technical degree is preferred (PhD, Masters)
• Bachelor's degree is required
