As the Electrical Engineering Manager at Hazelett Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in leading engineering teams to drive improvements in product quality, cost reduction, technical innovation, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for overseeing 6 to 15 engineers by providing mentorship and support to ensure their success. Effective communication with team members, senior management, and other departments is crucial for project execution success. Your duties will involve planning and managing engineering programs efficiently while identifying opportunities for process improvement related to continuous casting systems.
Your technical expertise will be key in this role as you will need deep knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley core systems like PLCs, Drives, and HMIs. Experience in programming for both systems along with understanding industrial machinery safety codes is essential. A minimum of a B.S. in Electrical or Automation Engineering is required with 10+ years of experience preferred. Strong leadership skills combined with effective communication abilities are necessary for supervising teams effectively while ensuring project deadlines are met.
