Our client, a leading Tier 1 Financial Services firm in the United States, is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager - Engineering to join their team. This full-time role will see you collaborating closely with the Financial Crime Technology department, reporting directly to senior Leadership within Technology and Financial Crime. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the engineering roadmap, with a strong emphasis on harnessing Machine Learning and Data Science capabilities.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in liaising with senior stakeholders to deliver technical engineering solutions and drive strategic technical decisions throughout the organization. The ideal candidate must possess a robust technical background in general engineering as well as expertise in Machine Learning/Data Science. Exceptional leadership skills are essential, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and data-driven insights.
Key responsibilities of this position include driving Technology Strategy by anticipating evolving business needs and implementing optimal technology solutions. You will also be tasked with building High-Performing Teams that excel across product, process, data, and technology domains. Additionally, championing Service Improvement through API enablement, cloud offerings, open-source adoption, and talent management is vital for success in this role. Your focus will be on delivering World-Class Service by establishing a best-in-class technology service model that prioritizes simplicity, agility, cost-effectiveness, and efficient execution for both internal users and customers.
The successful candidate should have experience in Financial Crime Technology (preferred) along with strong stakeholder engagement skills to drive transformational change at all levels within the organization. Balancing transformation initiatives with critical business requirements is key to achieving organizational goals. A passion for technology trends, coding proficiency, as well as practical knowledge of Data Science, Machine Learning, and/or Generative AI capabilities are also required for this role.
