Sr Director Hardware Quality and Compliance Engineering

We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Director to lead our Hardware Quality and Compliance Engineering team at Palo Alto Networks. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our hardware products meet rigorous quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, excel in a collaborative environment that values teamwork, results-driven approaches, and creativity. As a key leader within our organization, you will develop strategies to uphold the highest quality and reliability standards across both new product development and existing product lines.

Reporting to a senior leader, you will closely collaborate with Hardware and Software Design Engineering teams, Product Management, Technical Support Engineering, Global Customer Support, Technical Operations, and Supply Chain Management. Your responsibilities will include enhancing current Quality Management strategies to elevate hardware product quality throughout their life cycle; serving as the primary representative of hardware quality in customer-facing interactions; proactively identifying emerging quality trends; driving continuous process improvement initiatives; collaborating with cross-functional teams on addressing quality concerns; preparing executive summaries on critical quality issues for senior management; applying analytical skills to resolve technical product quality issues effectively.

To qualify for this role, candidates must have proven experience in senior leadership positions within hardware quality and compliance management roles with direct customer interface experience. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field is required along with over 7 years of progressive experience in leadership roles. Proficiency in people management, communication skills, multidisciplinary technology knowledge, design for reliability processes, quality improvement methodologies are essential qualifications.

• 5+ years of directly interfacing with customers
• 7+ years progressive experience in a senior leadership role
