We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering. In this critical role, you will oversee our Engineering, QA, and AI departments to ensure strategic alignment with the company's long-term goals. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader capable of driving innovation, building scalable systems, fostering a customer-centric approach, and guiding engineering efforts towards operational excellence.
As the SVP of Engineering at Kixie, your responsibilities will include developing and executing an engineering strategy in line with business objectives to ensure scalability and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, and Support to deliver reliable software solutions that meet customer needs. Additionally, you will establish engineering KPIs to measure performance and drive continuous improvement while staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field along with 15+ years of experience in software development. You must have proven leadership experience managing engineering organizations of 30+ engineers and expertise in designing complex technical systems across backend infrastructure, frontend platforms, and cloud management. Strong communication skills are essential for articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences while balancing strategic vision with operational execution.
