Director of Manufacture Architect

Our team is seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing Architect to lead the development of our advanced manufacturing platform. As the Director, you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to design and optimize manufacturing infrastructure for our new product platforms. Your strategic vision and hands-on expertise will play a crucial role in integrating advanced technologies and efficient workflows to support the production of high-performance smart power modules.

As the Director of Manufacturing Architect, you will provide strategic direction in developing equipment layouts, workflows, and safety precautions to maximize plant utilization. You will act as the primary liaison between various departments, including development, support/service, application teams, and customers. Additionally, you will evaluate sourcing strategies and investment planning to align with long-term company goals. Leading internal and external partners in project deliverables and transfer activities from external manufacturing to in-house production lines will be a key aspect of your role.

Ideal candidates for this position should possess a Master's degree in manufacturing engineering or related fields with at least 10 years of experience in architecting automated manufacturing lines for electronics or similar industries. You should have a strong background in industries with high standards for quality, reliability, and traceability such as telecommunications, aerospace, automotive, or performance electronics. Your ability to lead high-performing teams through technical ambiguity while navigating complex organizational dynamics will be essential for success in this role.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in architecting and optimizing fully automated manufacturing lines
• At least 5 years in a leadership role
• Extensive understanding of electrical system design
• Master's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, industrial engineering
• Professional background in industries such as telecommunication, aerospace, automotive, or performance electronics
• Demonstrated success in working in a matrix organization with global stakeholders
