Your responsibilities will include overseeing full contract negotiation processes, managing the tender process from sourcing to evaluation of suppliers, ensuring contract administration, and independently authorizing contracts and orders up to a specified value. To excel in this role, you should hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or an MBA equivalent to CIPS or MCIPS. Moreover, you must have at least 10 years of experience in Procurement & Logistics management within industries such as aviation or construction. Candidates with experience in middle management roles within airlines or blue-chip organizations will have an added advantage. Strong analytical decision-making skills, financial acumen, organizational abilities, negotiation skills, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
