As the Financial Controller at Masdar, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial support, accounting services, and financial reporting to ensure compliance with group procedures and policies. Your responsibilities will include developing financial statements, reports, and analysis in line with GAAP and IFRS requirements. You will also supervise P&L analysis, revenue forecasting, cost reviews, and manage financial administrative activities such as receivables and inventory registry.
In addition to these tasks, you will collaborate with internal departments to control expenditures effectively and contribute to achieving optimal financial performance. Your role will involve overseeing the development of documentation for audits conducted by both internal and external auditors. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration or finance, be a qualified accountant (CA/ACCA), and possess at least 8 years of experience in financial management within infrastructure projects or construction companies. Experience in project finance would be advantageous.
