About the job Role Overview The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business growth opportunities, fostering relationships with distributors, retailers, HoReCa channels etc and driving sales strategies that align with regulatory compliance. This role involves developing strategic plans to expand market share, managing key accounts, and promoting brand awareness within a competitive and highly regulated market. Key Responsibilities Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential growth areas. Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets or expand existing ones. Monitor industry trends, route planning, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retailers. Negotiate terms of trade, pricing, and distribution agreements. Ensure consistent communication and alignment with stakeholders. Sales Management: Set and achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and market share objectives. Drive product visibility through effective merchandising strategies. Coordinate with sales teams to optimize territory coverage and performance. Brand Development: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that strengthen brand positioning. Promote product awareness through events, trade shows, targeted marketing efforts. Drive loyalty programs initiatives to retain customer base. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market trends customer feedback.
